Because National Greenhouses' frames are constructed entirely of aluminum with 1/8" tempered glass, 8 mm Polycarbonate or Strong 16MM Five Wall Polycarbonate throughout, these residential greenhouses are structurally sound and outstanding residential Greenhouse Structures. Since 1931, National Greenhouses have been designed and engineered to provide optimal growing conditions for your plants. Some of the many greenhouse uses include plant and flower cultivation, orchid growing, vegetable growing, cultivation of tropical and specialized plants, starting seeds for seasonal outdoor gardening, gardening year-round and preserving outdoor plants throughout the colder months, even spa and pool enclosures. National Greenhouses offers three basic types of structures. The lean-to model greenhouses, which attaches to a home or existing structure, can be entered from inside the house or out. The freestanding greenhouse models can be placed anywhere on a foundation and positioned for optimal lighting and Solar Benefit. These free standing greenhouse Kit models can also be attached directly to your house for easy access. The lean-to greenhouse kits, Gable attached or freestanding greenhouse kits consist of an aluminum frame with Innovative aluminum extrusions designed to hold standard Solar tempered glass or polycarbonate coverings. Choice of Bronze or White (standard) aluminum frames, along with curved or straight eaves, provides an excellent match to any type architectural design or color scheme. These Innovations in design allow for either Glass to Ground or "Base wall models" for that special individualized look. Our many glazing options enhance the Solar benefits you need when heating your pool or pleasing your plants. A continuous automated roof vent, with screens (standard) on all models, affords the great ventilation required for most growing environments and situations.
